About Lori Green

My name is Lori Green and I teach fourth grade science at S.C. Tucker Elementary at Danville.  I have been teaching for 18 total years and starting on my 19th year.  I have currently been teaching 4th grade science for 6 years, taught second grade for ten years and taught english as a second language for two years.  I love teaching and counldn't imagine doing anything else.

I have been married to my husband for twenty-two years.  We have one son who is twelve and two daughters, one who is fifteen and one who is nineteen and attending college at Arkanas Tech University at Russellville. When I am not teaching, I am spending time with my family.  Some things that we like to do together are riding our side by side, fishing, and watching movies.  We also have two dogs, a rabbit, 2 chichillas, a leopard gecko, and an abundance of fish.

My hobbies include reading, being outdoors, listening to music, and tending to my fish tanks.  I have three fish tanks.  My recent addition is a 30 gallon salt water tank that has tropical fish.  I also attend New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church on Kingston Road outside of Plainview.  I have been an active member there for nineteen years.

I am excited about starting my seventh year teaching experience in fourth grade.  I currently have two chinchillas, 2 leopard geckos, 2 turtles, 2 fish tanks, and 2 hermit crabs as classroom pets. I love science and have an exciting year planned!
