Grades will be calculated based on total points. The total number of points will depend on the class.  

There will be multiply ways for students to earn points. Possible ways students may earn points included: homework, classwork, tests, quizzes, and projects.

As a teacher I beieve that all work is important and I believe in partial credit when work is shown. This means that for any student to recieve partial credit they must show their work along with their answer.

If a student is not able to attend class for any reason I expect them to make-up any work that they miss. This means that when a student returns to class I will have to recieve any assignments that they missed from me and they will have the same amount of time as all of the other students to complete the assignment. For the case of make-up tests and quizzes students are expected to complete these on the first day they return. This is the school’s policy and I expect that all students will follow this policy.

Grading Scale

A: 90 – 100

B: 80 – 89

C: 70 – 79

D: 60 – 69

F: 0 – 59
