"All Student drivers are to park their vehicles in the paved student parking lot in front of the high school only. Parking will not be allowed at the gym or the Baptist church."

11/17 School picture remakes

The 5th Judicial Drug Task Force is sponsoring the Red Ribbon Poster Contest once again this year.  The theme is staying away from drugs, alcohol, and other destructive behaviors.  The deadline to submit a poster is Monday, November 1.  Please see Mr. Rose for information about the contest.
Any girl in grades 9-12 interested in playing in the Powder Puff game, November 2nd needs to see Mrs. Foster and get a form. The form has to be signed by a parent before you can participate in the game. There will be a meeting for all girls participating on October 27th, Wednesday in the library during lunch.

DHS students may NOT go to the TACO Bell during lunch until further notice.  You will not be served there.

The yearbook staff is requesting pictures for a special project.  Each student who wants to be included should submit one fairly current, close-up picture of himself.  (Think along the lines of an avatar or profile picture.)  To be included in this project, submit pictures to Mrs. Phomsithi (Room 205) no later than December 1.  You may turn these in on a CD or submit a hard copy.  Please, no school pictures -- we've already got those.

Counselors Office Information:

The Arkansas Prevention Needs Assessment Survey will be given to 6th, 8th, 10th, and 12th grade students on Tuesday, November 9.  The survey will be conducted at the Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.  The schedule is:

8:30 - 10th Grade
9:45 - 8th Grade
11:00 - 12th Grade
1:30 - 6th Grade

An announcement will be made when it is time for the students to report to the survey.
