Fair Week 9/13-9/18
Miss. Yell County forms are available in the office. The deadline to enter is 9/9. Miss Yell County will be held Monday 9/13 in the cafeteria.
The Youth Talent Contest will be held Wednesday 9/15 in the cafeteria. Entry forms are available in the office.
There will be a mandatory rehearsal Tuesday 9/7 from 3:15 – 5:30 in the cafeteria.
9/3 Jr’s will meet with Jostens in the library during 3rd period in the library for class ring orders. Students will be released by intercom.

Representatives from the Upward Bound Math and Science Academy will be here Wednesday, September 8 during lunch to meet with any 9th or 10th grade student interested in applying for admission. Danville High School graduated several Upward Bound students last year, so there will be the opportunity for several new members from Danville. The meeting will be held in Room 207 (Coach Wright's) classroom- you will need to get your lunch and then come to the meeting

Activity/Club Meetings:
Any student (9th-12th) interested in being a Future Business Leader of America FBLA member needs to pay their $10 dues to Mrs. Lane, Mrs.
Spikes, or Mrs. Dickey by Friday, September 10. If you plan to run for an officer position this year, sign up on the window in Mrs.
Lane's classroom. Elections will be held Monday, September 13. You must be a PAID member in order to vote on this date. Our first chapter meeting will be on Tuesday, September 14, in Mrs. Lane's room during senior high lunch.

Counselors Office Information:
The 2010 Teen Leadership Summit will be held at the Arkansas Tech Lake Point Conference Center on September 27-28. 5 students from Danville in grades 10-12 will be invited to attend. Lodging and meals will be provided for the overnight conference. If you are interested in attending, see Mr. Rose before Thursday, September 2.
