Referral Process

Students can be referred by a teacher, member of the community, parent, peers, or themselves. After permission from the parent or guardian is obtained, data is collected on each student.  This data includes 2 subjective measures, 2 objective measures, creativity assessments, as well as  parent and teacher data. All data is reviewed by the committee for possible placement.  A letter stating whether or not placement has been made will be mailed to the parents of the student.  If the parent would like to meet with the Gifted and Talented Coordinator to discuss the results, arrangements can be made through the office.

Please send the completed referral to Ms Michele Toman through any of the school offices. Thank you so much for your interest in the Gifted and Talented Program.
